Stayed in Asheboro for 2014 U S Open and took a day off with the wife to play this course. The most unique and coolest course I've ever played...and that includes Caledonia. Felt a kinship to Mike Strantz while walking the fairways and made me sad he left us all too soon. There just aren't any architects that create courses where every hole is this unique. I'll be back.

Mike Strantz, need I say more? I loved Tobacco Road but I give my highest accolades to Tot Hill Farm.

Drove 200 miles to play here as part of Pinehurst area vacation. Have played other Mike Stranz designs (Stonehouse, Royal New Kent, Tobacco Road) and this rivals Royal New Kent. Fantastic elevation changes, natural rock formations. Excellent condition. Highly recommend.

Great layout with lots of contour, which adds to the difficulty. It has a few hidden or elevated greens, which can make it difficult for the first time player. I like the challenge, but my golf buddy thinks it is too tough.

This was my second time playing and would recommend this course to everyone. Live in FL. and I look forward to my next trip to NC, I will definitely return. NOTE: MIKE STRANTZ courses are some of the best I have played, look forward to adding more to the bucket list. Looks like next year we are going to SOUTH CAROLINA to cross off 3 more !!!!!
